Union Steel Minister and Congress candidate Beni Prasad Verma has been booked for violation of Model Code of Conduct in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. He organised a roadshow in Tarabganj tehsil last evening without taking permission, in which the number of vehicles was also beyond permissible limit. The vehicles stopped at many places leading to traffic jam. An FIR was lodged against Beni Prasad and his supporters this morning at Kotwali Dehat police station in Gonda.
