Blaming BJP of politicizing the issue of price rise, Congress today said that the opposition is misleading the public. Briefing media persons in New Delhi, Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari said that the BJP which boasts of its government in 11 states must not forget that the state government is equally responsible for containing price rise.<br/><br/>The spokesman said poor monsoon and drought conditions that prevailed last year are responsible for the present crisis.<br/><br/> Stressing upon the role of the state governments, Mr Tiwari said that state is responsible for applying measures like PDS, taking action against hoarders, and using ESMA.
