BJP today attacked Congress for its demand to convene a special session of Parliament to declare Pakistan<br/>a terrorist state. The party said it is merely a propaganda tactic of the opposition party and an attempt to politicise the issue of national security. <br/><br/>BJP Secretary Sidharth Nath Singh said the Congress' decision to go to media with its demand shows that it is not serious. He added that it should have gone to the Lok Sabha Speaker if it is sincere. Mr. Singh said the government is looking at diplomatic and other options to counter Pakistan. He also attacked Congress for its alleged inaction following the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
