Congress has appealed all the political parties to cooperate and ensure smooth functioning of the winter session of Parliament. Talking to reporters in New Delhi on Monday, party spokesperson Manish Tewari said that opposition should not stall the proceedings to gain political mileage.

He added that government is bringing many significant bills including Lokpal and Judicial Accountability bill to end the corruption.

Congress also condemnd Mayawati led Uttar Pradesh Government for the hasty approach adopted by it to get the resolution for the division of the state pass in the legislature. Mr. Tewari said that BSP government cannot deceive the people by passing such a significant resolution without discussion.
