Congress has announced a five- member committee to hold seat-sharing talks with DMK for Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, due in May. Our correspondent quoting sources reports, the committee comprises Union Ministers P Chidambaram and G K Vasan, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee chief K V Thangkabalu, Congress spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan and AICC secretary Jayakumar.The announcement comes exactly a week after DMK and Congress decided to continue their seven-year-old alliance to contest the Assembly polls after TN Chief Minister M Karunanidhi met Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.The committee will hold talks with a DMK team, which is expected to be announced soon, on the number of seats to be contested by it.
