Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday said that confidence has come back in the Indian stock markets and that the situation will stabilze in a few days. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, he however said, US Federal Reserve's decision to keep the interest rates at a low level will impact Indian markets which are in the process of stabilization. Mr Mukherjee said, both RBI and Ministry of Finance are working together in close cooperation to ensure whatever steps are needed, are taken promptly. He added, there will be no dearth of liquidity of foreign exchange.
