A three day long conference focusing on the challenges in fuel management and the regulatory reforms in power sector began in New Delhi today. Inaugurating the conference, Union Minister for Power, Sushil kumar Shinde expressed concern over the shortage of coal, fuel and natural gas in the country. He said that the Ministry of Power is responsible for the development of power generation in the country. An Exhibition on the subject is the part from the conference. The exhibition also features pavilions by the states utilities and electricity boards .
