A three day international conference on innovations in public employment programme and sustainable inclusive growth will begin in New Delhi tomorrow. Labour Ministers from around 32 countries will participate in the conference.

According to an official release, the conference will focus on capacity building and information sharing between countries on the innovations around convergent holistic frameworks and to assess the strategic entry points for overall better cohesion for inclusive growth.

It will also discuss to use the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme as a case study for public policy to share insights on the linkages and convergence.

Apart from this, the participants will highlight effectiveness of public work programmes and employment guarantee schemes.
