In Madhya Pradesh, the 74th conference of presiding officers and secretaries of legislative bodies including Loksabha and state assemblies begins in Bhopal on Tuesday. AIR Bhopal correspondent reports that the conference will discuss topics like work of legislative bodies, execution of legislative business and smooth functioning of the House.<br/><br/>Loksabha speaker Meera Kumar, Vice Chairman of Rajya Sabha K Rehman Khan, Deputy Speaker of Loksabha Karia Munda and speakers, deputy speakers, secretaries and chairpersons of legislative assemblies will participate in the conference. Participants will discuss procedural aspects of conducting business of the House.<br/><br/>A conference of secretaries of legislative bodies will be held on Tuesday while Loksabha Speaker Meera Kumar will inaugurate the conference of presiding officers on Wednesday.<br/><br/>A symposium on urgency in addressing the needs of environment and conservation of wildlife will be held on 5th February. The convention is being held in Bhopal after a gap of 20 years.
