In Nepal, the health condition of ailing Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirla, has improved today. He was rushed to Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre in Kathmandu last evening after his condition deteriorated following sharp drop in his haemoglobin level.<br/><br/>Doctors attending on him said he is suffering from chest infection and lack of haemoglobin. Koirala will remain at the hospital for a couple of days until he is fully recuperated.<br/><br/>Koirla's daughter and Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala told newsmen that there has been gradual improvement in her father's condition after blood transfusion and had regular meal today.<br/><br/>President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav visited Shahid Gangalal Heart Centre today to see the ailing leader and to enquire about his health condition. Senior leaders of Nepali Congress and other political parties visited the hospital to see the ailing octogenarian leader.
