<span style="color: #222222;">The Centre has said, the condition of most of the State Government power distribution companies is a matter of grave concern. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, Minister of Power R.K. Singh said the accumulated losses of the state discom's have risen to nearly five lakh seven thousand and five Hundred crore rupees in 2019-20. He said, the outstanding payment by them to the power generating companies is in excess of one lakh 56 thousand crore rupees.<br />''<br />''Mr R. K. Singh said, the stressful position of the discoms has led to deliberate reforms in the sector in consultation with all the stakeholders including the states. He, however, said, no final decisions have been arrived at so far on the issue.</span><br />
