The health condition of former Chief Minister of West Bengal and veteran communist leader Mr Jyoti Basu remains critical yet stable. Mr Basu is in the ICU and under ventilation support. <br/><br/>According to a medical bulletin release, his blood pressure is being maintained through injection and doctors are keeping a close watch on his pulse rate and heart beat. The percentage of potassium and sodium in his body is near normal. Mr Basu is given liquid diet through Riel tube.
