In Madhya Pradesh, concerned by the erosion in Jyotirlinga at Omkareshwar, the state government has decided to take immediate measures to check it. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has asked Culture Minister Laxmikant Sharma to get in touch with all the four Shankaracharyas of the country and other prominent saints to seek their suggestions in this regard. Mr. Sharma will submit his report within seven days.
