Commonwealth Games: Wrestlers Sushil Kumar & Rahul Aware enter finals

Indian shooters will look to add to India's medals tally at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games today. Neeraj Kumar and Anish are now figuring in the Qualification of the Men's 25-metre Rapid Fire Pistol event, while Anjum Moudgil and Tejaswini Sawant will be seen in action in the Women's 50 metre Rifle Prone Finals. Of India's 24 medals, so far, shooters have won 11 – 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 5 Bronze.

Wrestling events are also beginning today. Star grapplers Sushil Kumar and Babita Kumari are among the Indians who will be seen in action in their respective weight categories. Seema Punia and Navjeet Dhillon will feature in the Women's Discus Throw Final. In Women's Hockey, India will take on Australia in the semi-finals.

In Badminton, PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth will play their pre-quarterfinal matches. The Round-of-16 matches of Table Tennis and Squash are also scheduled for today. 

India is currently third in the medals tally, with 12 Gold, 4 Silver and 8 Bronze. Australia continues to be at the top, with 57 Gold, 43 Silver and 45 Bronze. England is second, with 25 Gold, 30 Silver and 21 Bronze.
