On Day 9 of the ongoing Commonwealth Games, Vinesh Phogat will start her campaign. The Indian women's cricket team will square off against England in the semi-finals while the men's hockey team will battle against South Africa in the semi-finals. Para table tennis player Bhavina Patel will square off in the gold medal match. Manju Bala will make her presence felt in the women's hammer throw finals while boxers Amit Panghal, Nitu Ganghas, and Nikhat Zareen will all take part in their respective semi-final bouts.
In Table Tennis, Akula Sreeja and Reeth Tennison will compete in Women's Doubles Round of 16 at 2 PM, in Women's Doubles Round of 16 Manika Batra and Diya Parag Chitale at 2 PM while Achanta Sharath Kamaland Akula Sreeja will participate in Mixed Doubles semifinals at 6 PM. In Para-athletics, Poonam Sharma and Sharmila Santhosh can be seen
in Women's F55-57 shot put finals at 2.50 PM.
In Athletics, Bhawna Jat and Priyanka Goswami will compete in Women's 10km walk final at 3.00 PM while Avinash Sable will be seen in action in men's 3000 meter steeplechase final at 4:20 PM, Hima Das, Dutee Chand, Srabani Nanda Simi can be seen in Women's 4X100 relay round Heat 1 at 4:45 PM. Manju Bala will compete in Women's hammer throw finals at 11:30 PM and Avinash Sable in Men's 5000meter finals at 12:40 AM.
In Boxing, Nitu Ganghas will be seen in action over 45-48kg semifinals at 3 PM, Amit Panghal over 48-51kg in semifinals at 3:30 PM, Nikhat Zareen over 48-50kg semifinals at 7:15 PM, Jaismine Lamboria over 57-60kg in semifinals at 8 PM, Rohit Tokas over 63.5-67kg in semifinals at 12:45 AM and Sagar Ahlawat over 92kg in semifinals at 1:30 AM.
