Indian weightlifters have continued their gold rush in the Commonwealth Championships.On the second day of the competition at Apia, Samoa, today, they bagged 10 more yellow metals. The Indians also won four silver and two bronze medals to take their overall tally to 21 Gold, 7 Silver and 3 Bronze. On the first day yesterday, India had won 15 medals, including 11 gold. Laishram Monika Devi led the gold rush today by winning the senior women's 69kg category event with a total lift of207kg. Two gold medals came through Rustam Sarang in senior men's 62kg, and N Sunil Kumar in senior men's 69kg. Rajwant Kaur also won gold in senior women's 63kg category. The Commonwealth Championship is being held for Youth (Boys and Girls), Junior (Men and Women) and Senior (Men andWomen) categories simultaneously.Other gold winners were Sorom Hitlar Tagru (youth boys 62kg), Kojum Taba (youth boys 69kg), Y M Nafisa (youth girl's 69kg), Achyutananda Sahoo (junior men's 62kg), Rakhi Halder(junior women's 63kg) and Oinam Geeta Devi (junior women's 69kg).
