Committee extends date for receiving representations on Telangana issue

The Committee on Telangana has decided to extend the date for receiving representations on the issue from 22nd of this month to the 10th of next in view of the demand by various stakeholders to do so.<br/><br/>It has also decided to appoint five consultants to analyse representations received on issue and has appointed a nodal officer for coordination. <br/><br/>Speaking to media after their meeting in New Delhi today the Chairman of the Committee Justice Srkrishna said that 14000 representations have alreay received by the panel and they are being examined. He said that the committee members will be going to Andhra Pradesh after the 10th of April. <br/><br/>The Committee will meet again on the 8th of April to discuss further course of action. This was the committee's thrid meeting since it was set in the first week of February.
