Union Minister for Communication and IT Mr. Kapil Sibal said that Government is committed to making India a global hub for electronics system design and manufacturing to meet the growing domestic and global demand. Mr Sibal was interacting with the captains of the electronics industry in New Delhi on Monday . Electronics industry is the largest and fastest growing industry in the world with 1.75 trillion US dollars. Mr Sibal emphasized on more research and development in the electronics sector as it can generate more jobs in the future. He said that focus is also on Information and broadcasting, automotive electronics,medical electronics, avionics and LED sectors where electronics play an important part.
