<span style="color: #222222;">Commissioner Secretary PHE and I&FC, J&K, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, yesterday convened a meeting of officers to review implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission and status of piped water to all households in the UT. The J&K Government is planning to provide 55 liters of water per person by 2024 under Jal Jeevan Mission and has set a deadline of 2022 for providing cleaned piped water to all households under the Mission.<br />''<br />''Amongst the 18.17 lakh households, 7.82 lakh rural household have been covered till date. Rs 1000 crore Budget outlay has also been sanctioned for improving water supply infrastructure in rural areas with 10,000 crore to be spent during the current year covering 2.32 lakh households would be covered.</span><br />
