<span style="color: #222222;">Commissioner Secretary, Transport Department UT of J&K, Hirdesh Kumar today visited the Inspection and Certification Centre (ICC), in Barian area of Samba district to take stock of construction progress on the state of art of excellence centre. AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that this automotive institute for vehicle testing is first of it's kind in the UT in which automotive inspection of Vehicle would be carried out. The ICC has been constructed at an cost of Rs 982.20 lacs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Hirdesh Kumar directed the Executing agency to speed up and complete all civil work including fabrication of workstation within period of one month and take up the matter of installation of machinery and equipments at the work station at an earliest so that without any further delay automotive inspection of vehicles can be started. Later, he visited ARTO Office, Samba and RTO office Jammu and inspected all sections of the offices and laid emphasis upon strict following of SOPs while performing official task besides also ensuring transparency and public friendly work culture.</span><br />''
