In Rajasthan, commercial production of oil and gas from two new wells will begin in Barmer district today.

Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gahlot will inaugurate the wells – Aishwarya and Rageshwari.

Our correspondent reports that the oil production will touch two lakh barrels per day from this area after the two new wells beginning the commercial production.
