Commerce Minister reaches China to attend BRICS trade Ministers meet

Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reached the city of Shanghai in China today to attend the two-day BRICS trade Ministers meeting starting tomorrow. <br/><br/>During the meeting, the minister is expected to raise India's concerns over growing trade deficit with China. On the bilateral front, the trade deficit in India-China bilateral trade has crossed over 50 billion US dollars in about 70 billion US dollars overall trade between the two countries.<br/><br/>China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said, the seventh meeting of the Brazil, Russia, India, China South Africa (BRICS) will discuss enhancing e-commerce cooperation in an upcoming annual meeting.
