The Commerce and Industry Ministry has hailed the budget proposals made for various flagship programmes of the Ministry. Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told news persons in New Delhi today that programmes like Make in India, Start Up, Stand Up India will get a major boost due to budget proposals.<br/><br/>Over concerns being raised by Indian companies on the US visa regime, the Minister said a meeting will be convened soon in this regard after Parliament goes for recess.<br/><br/>Ms. Sitharaman said India is closely monitoring the developments and is constantly in touch with the consular office in the United States.
