Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal calls for free trade within rules-based multilateral trading system

<span style="color: #222222;">Commerce and Industries minister Piyush Goyal  today highlighted that India is making every effort for early conclusion of several crucial Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). Mr Goyal also called for free trade within rules-based multilateral trading systems with honesty and transparency as core values. He urged upon all countries to work to resolve issues posed by Non- Tariff Barriers in international trade.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Goyal also advocated for enhanced collaborations of Indian universities with institutions of eminence across the world. Addressing the 54th Convocation of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in New Delhi , Mr Goyal said 100 crore vaccines is a symbol of India's strength and the result of collective effort.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also asserted that wherever India faces an unfair or unjust treatment, it will take reciprocal action.  Underscoring the need for a committed and vibrant leadership in the field of academics in the country, Mr Goyal called for enhancing exposure of students to the best of technology, foreign law, economics, and international trade. Calling for tie-ups of Indian Universities with institutions of eminence across the world, he asked Indian universities to enter into sustained collaborations with such institutions.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Goyal said that despite challenges, India under Prime Minister Modi has aimed to convert a crisis into an opportunity for transformation. </span>
