In Tamil Nadu’s Pudukottai Assembly byelection ruling AIADMK’s Karthik Thondaiman is leading by 11 thousand 942 votes.At the end of the fourth round of counting, Karthik Thondaiman of AIADMK had polled 18 thousand 171 votes and his nearest rival DMDK’s Jahir Huassain had polled six thousand 229 votes. There will be 23 rounds of voting.The bypoll was necessitated due to the death of Communist Party of India MLA Muthukumaran on April 1. CPI had won the election in alliance with AIADMK in the last Assembly poll.
