Combined force kills over 10 insurgents in Afghanistan

Afghan-led combined security force in Afghanistan killed more than 10 insurgents in Nangarhar province . International Command of NATO and Afghan coalition force in its press release issued in Kabul today says the security operation was launched yesterday targeting a Taliban leader who was involved in attacks against Afghan government officials and security forces. On a tip off Afghan-led security force surrounded the building where insurgents were hiding. Insurgents attacked the force with machine guns, rocket propelled grenades and AK-47 rifles. In the ensuing battle these insurgents were killed. In another operation coalition patrol discovered a huge cache of arms of ammunition in Khost and Logan provinces. In Helmand province Afghan-led security force detained several suspected insurgents while searching for an insurgent leader yesterday.
