The Columbian Government says it is setting up a new base near its border with Venezuela and that it has activated six more airborne battalions. The relations between the two South American neighbours are at their historic low with the Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez telling his Generals to remain prepared for war . President Chavez criticised the pact signed between Columbia and the US last month, allowing the America troops to use several bases in Columbia.<br/>
