An army major has been suspended for his alleged involvement in a fake encounter case in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. <br/><br/>Defence sources said in New Delhi that a Colonel has also been removed from his command on the same issue and an inquiry has been ordered. <br/><br/>The two have been named as main accused in the Machil encounter case by Jammu & Kashmir police.<br/>
