On the second day of the Colombo Test, Sril Lanka began their first innings disastrously losing opener Karunaratne for just one run. The hosts were 6 for 1 a shortwhile ago in reply to India's first innings score of 393 all out.Indian first innings folded just after lunch for 393 runs. They were batting at 386 for 8 at Lunch. India added 74 runs today with Wriddhiman Saha making his second fifty of the series. The visitors resumed at their overnight score of 319 for 6. On the opening day, yesterday, Lokesh Rahul scored his second century while skipper Virat Kohli made 78 and Rohit Sharma 79. Earlier, after opting to bat first, Indian team had lost opener Murali Vijay and Ajinkya Rahane early on.For Sri Lanka, Herath was the most successful claiming four wickets while Prasad, Mathews and Chameera took two wickets each.This is the penultimate Test of the 3-match series and Sri Lanka leads the series 1-Nil. Veteran wicket keeper-batsman Kumara Sangakkara will retire from international cricket after this game.
