Colombo test, Day-3: Sri Lanka 209 for 2 in second innings after India enforces follow on

In the second Cricket test against India at Colombo, Sri Lanka were 209 for 2 in their second innings at stumps on Day three today after they were forced to follow on. Earlier, the hosts, resuming the day at 50 for two, failed to put up any resistance against the Indian spinners and were bowled out for 183 in their first innings. It was in reply to India's huge first innings innings total of 622 for nine declared. In the process, Sri Lanka conceded their highest-ever first innings' lead of 439 runs in Test cricket. Overall, the hosts still trail by 208 runs, with 8 second wickets remaining. India lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test in Galle by 304 runs.The scores so far:-India – 622 for 9 declared.Sri Lanka – 183 and 209 for 2.
