Left-wing rebels in Colombia have killed at least six police officers in an attack near the border with Ecuador. The Farc rebels used home made mortars to bombard a police station in the Putumayo region triggering a fight that continued in the surrounded jungle. In less than two weeks more than 30 security personnel have been killed in guerrillas attacks.
