Colombia, Venezuela Presidents meet to normalize relations

In a sudden turn of events, the Foreign Ministers of Colombia and Venezuela have announced that their Presidents are to meet in the Colombian capital on Tuesday as a first step to normalise relations. President Chavez of Venezuela severed diplomatic ties after the former Colombian President Alvaro Uribe accused him of harbouring Left wing Colombian rebels But on Saturday, the new Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos signalled his willingness to talk to his Venezuelan counterpart.
