The Presidents of Colombia and Venezuela have agreed to restore diplomatic relations after meeting in the Colombian city of Sata Marta. After three hours of talks, President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia announced the re-establishment of diplomatic relations. The Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez had broken off diplomatic ties last month after the then Colombian President accused Venezuela of harbouring left wing Colombian rebels. The two Presidents said, they decided to put their differences aside in the interest of the two nations.
