In Colombia, at least 112 people killed and 180 injured after torrential rains triggered mudslides in southwest Colombia. According to the Red Cross and the officials, the mudslides left up to 200 missing after destroying homes. <br/><br/>Army photographs from the town of Mocoa showed that the surge swept away houses, bridges, vehicles and trees, leaving piles of wrecked timber and brown mud. The mudslides struck late Friday after days of torrential rain overflowed Mocoa river and its tributaries. <br/><br/>President Juan Manuel Santos visited Mocoa today to supervise rescue and assistance efforts in the heavily forested region. He said that the death toll would probably rise further because 200 people were still missing.<br/><br/>
