Colleges in many districts of Maharashtra will reopen today. The state government has given permission for reopening colleges with 50 per cent capacity and by following all COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures. Schools for higher classes have restarted few weeks ago in many parts of the state.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra's Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant said that the rule regarding minimum attendance of 75 percent for students has been waived off for the current academic year. He added that universities can decide on whether they want to conduct exams in offline or online mode and reschedule their semesters accordingly. School and colleges in Mumbai and Suburban areas will not start from today. Local authorities said that, they are reviewing covid19 situation and will take a decision for reopening education institutions soon.</span><br />
