Colleges in Maharashtra will resume their activities from tomorrow as the state government has allowed to open the colleges in the state with some restrictions in the backdrop of improved Covid-19 situation. The stakeholders will have to follow the Covid-19 protocols and SOPs in this regard have been issued by the government.<br />''<br />''A report<br />''<br />''According to the SOPs issued by the Higher and Technical Education department of Maharashtra only those colleges are allowed to reopen where the concerned authorities have not imposed any containment restrictions. Only those students and teaching and non teaching staff is allowed to enter the college premises who have completed their vaccination with both the doses of Covid-19 vaccine. Those who have not completed their vaccination, are told to do it on priority. The colleges can contact local concerned authorities to conduct vaccination drives for the students and the staff.&nbsp; The classes will be conducted with 50 percent attendance and the colleges have been asked to stagger timings for entry and exit for different programs conducted in the colleges. All shops, stalls, cafeteria or canteens within the college campus are not allowed to open.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">All the Covid-19 protocols which includes wearing of face masks, using hand sanitizer and maintaining physical distance are mandatory for the colleges.
