The cold wave conditions in the southern part of West Bengal will intensify in the next 24 hours. The Alipore met- office has predicted that form tomorrow, the eight districts of South Bengal will come under the gripe of the cold wave.The met-office chief Mr. Gokul Chandra Devnath told our correspondent, that, after the shifting of the high pressure zone on the Bay of Bengal, the northerly winds have started coming, under the influence of which the temperature in the State has started coming down.There has been snow fall in Darjeeling and adjoining districts due to the cold wave.
