Rajasthan is in the grip of coldwave. Mount Abu, recorded a temperature of 1.6 degree below freezing point and thin layer of snow was visible in open areas. In plain areas Churu was the coldest with 2.6 degree celsius. In Sriganganagar minimum temperature was recorded 5 and in Bikaner 6. Rail and road traffic is adversely affected due to fog in northern parts of the state. According to Jaipur met office temperature will further decrease in next 48 hours.
