<span style="color: #222222;">Cold wave continued to sweep Uttarakhand after heavy snowfall in hilly areas and moderate rainfall in other parts of the state during the past 24 hours. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that schools up to class 12th were closed today in Dehradun, Almora, Pithoragarh, Nainital and some other parts of the state following the weather . All the major peaks were covered with snow. Some roads in remote areas were blocked following the snowfall. Snow cutter machines have been engaged to clear the snow. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As per reports, tourists are reaching Mussoorie and Nainital to enjoy snowfall. According to Met Department, very light to light rainfall or snowfall is likely to occur at isolated places in hills, especially in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts. Snowfall is likely to occur at places with height 2500 metres and above in coming 24 hours. </span><br />
