Cold wave continued to sweep North India claiming 204 lives so far. Official sources said, all the nine fresh deaths were reported from Uttar Pradesh. Dense fog further added to problems of the people in the region. Poor visibility has disrupted rail, road and air traffic at several places in the region.AIR Chandigarh correspondent reports that the heavy fog also affected visibility in parts of Punjab and Haryana where cold wave disrupted normal life.AIR Jaipur correspondent reports that dense fog is disturbing rail and road traffic in the state.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that in the last 24 hours, Meerut recorded the lowest temperature at 3.4 degrees.The North east part of India is also reeling under cold waveCold conditions returned to Jammu and Kashmir after two days, as night temperature fell below freezing point due to clear sky.
