The cold wave sweeping north India showed no signs of relenting as temperatures settled below normal levels at most places.
Delhites continue to shiver under biting cold with the mercury hovering few degrees below normal in the national capital.
The minimum temperature Sunday morning was a notch below average at 6.8 degree Celsius, while the maximum on Saturday was three notches below normal at 18.4 degree celsius.

There seems no respite from the chilling cold as the Met department has predicted cold wave conditions in north-west and east Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours.
In Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, there is an increase in the minimum temperature but the chill in the atmosphere is enough to force people to remain indors.
