Cold wave continues to sweep national capital

Cold wave continues to sweep the National Capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 4.6 degree Celsius. This is two degrees below the normal level for this time of the year. The minimum temperature yesterday was 4.7 degrees Celsius but the maximum rose to 15.6 degree Celsius. Low temperature coupled with icy winds from the northern mountains has made life difficult for the people.However, there was no dense fog in the city. Flight operations were normal at the IGI airport as there was good visibility.
