Cold wave conditions further intensified in New Delhi

The cold wave conditions have further intensified in the national capital Delhi as temperature continues to fall. The maximum temperature yesterday plummeted four degrees below normal to settle at 16.7 degrees while the minimum this morning was a degree above average at 7.8 degrees. The met department predicts the mercury to dip further in the coming days with the maximum and minimum temperature expected to be around 15 and seven degrees today. Although dense fog is not likely to descend in coming days, the weathermen say that Chilly winds blowing across the city will lead to cold conditions.
