Cold wave claims over two dozen lives in UP during last 24 hours

The cold wave situation has worsened in Uttar Pradesh as the day's temperature has further dropped. Fursatganj town in Raibereli district remained the coldest place in the state where the minimum temperature dropped to 1.4 degrees Celsius. More than two dozen deaths were reported in the state during the past 24 hours. The state government has ordered the closure of schools and colleges up to intermediate till 16th of this month.
