Cold wave conditions are prevailing in most parts of Punjab and Haryana due to light rains that brought down minimum temperature increased in both the states.

In Punjab, Amritsar remained coldest with temperature coming down to 4.4 degree Celsius today while in Haryana, Narnaul was the coldest with a minimum of 4.5 followed by Rohtak at 5.1 degree Celsius. Chandigarh registered minimum 10 degree Celsius.

The Met Deparmet said similar conditions would prevail for the next 48 hours.
