Cold conditions continued in parts of Punjab and Haryana. In the plains of Punjab and Haryana, Narnaul and Amritsar were the coldest places with a low of five degrees Celsius each. Karnal settled at a low of six degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, while the minimum temperature at Patiala was 6.5 degrees Celsius. Chandigarh recorded a low of 7.4 degrees Celsius. The MeT forecast dry weather with slight rise in temperature during the next two days.
