Normal life is being affected due to cold in entire Rajasthan. At Mount Abu, the only hill of the State, the temperature was minus 4.4 degree Celsius this morning. In the plains, Jaipur is the coldest place today with 2.1 degree Celsius. Temperature is ranging between 2 to 8 degree Celsius in state. The temperature recorded in Jaisalmer was 2.4 degree Celsius, 3.3 in Ajmer, 3.7 in Bikaner and 4.2 in Churu. Meanwhile, the State Government has closed all schools in the state for 5 days due to severe cold conditions. Road traffic in northern parts of the State was affected due to fog. According to Met Office of Jaipur, temperature may further decrease in next 24 hours.
