The Gulf Air flight that skidded off the runway at the Cochin International Airport on Monday has been lifted and moved to the taxiway clearing the runway, making the airport fully operational. Special airbags were brought in from Mumbai for the purpose and the entire operation was completed this morning.International flights from the Gulf region, scheduled to land at Kochi during early this morning were diverted to other airports.Two Etihad Airways flights and a Gulf Air flight were diverted to Chennai and an Air Arabia flight was diverted to Coimbatore. Airport sources said these flights will be brought back to Kochi.
