Coast guard increases surveillance capability

<br/>The coast guard is increasing its surveillance capability to any repeat of 26.11. like incident. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi on Thursday the Director General of coast guard Anil Chopra said that in the first phase 46 stations equipped with radar and other sensors are being put in place to identify the intruding vessel.<br/><br/>The stations are coming up at the cost of 350 crore rupees. In addition to this 131 coastal police stations are also coming up for proper coordination and safeguard of the coastal region.<br/><br/>Several other intelligence agencies are working with coast guard to secure the international waters.<br/>
