People's Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti has said that the coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir State has lost moral authority to govern . Talking to reporters outside the Legislative Assembly complex after Governor N N Vohra's address on the opening day of month-long Budget session in Jammu today , the PDP President alleged that people are facing shortage of basic amenities but the State Government is busy in saving the Chief Minister and his Cabinet Ministers, who are facing charges of corruption, nepotism, favouritism and crime. Mehbooba's statement came in the backdrop of notices issued by the State Accountability Commission to the Chief Minister and eight others besides Finance Minister, Abdul Rahim Rather.
